Over the years, PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, Ambala Cantt has emerged as multidisciplinary body known for its excellence in curricular and co- curricular spheres by educational giants.

Warm wishes to all of you on the Foundation Day-2025 of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.

The extraordinary journey of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, which began in 1963 with just 20 regimental schools, has transformed into a vast network of 1,289 Kendriya Vidyalayas, illuminating the nation with the light of exceptional education.

It disseminates quality education to its stakeholders and ensures their holistic development. The school is a platform to create a talent with the advanced technology to aid the teaching learning process. Furthermore, our curriculum is a carefully thought out plan to make child’s academic progress more yielding and fulfilling. An environment of amity and friendly competition is consistently maintained so as to make the most of our students as pioneers of the modern world. The KVS RO Gurugram is committed to cater the academic and co-curricular needs of the students and always yearns for their bright future. The teachers build the roadmap for the success of the Vidyalaya. They readily adapt themselves to the challenges of a constantly changing educational scenario and keep updating themselves with the best and innovative practices. They are the one who guide, motivate and inspire children to innovate, create and aspire to accomplish their dreams. Teachers’ role in envisioning the objectives of NEP 2020 is indispensible. We look forward for the comprehensive implementation of all the aspects of NEP 2020 for the all round development of the students of Kendriya Vidyalayas under the aegis of KVS Gurugram Region. Unity in diversity is the hallmark of Kendriya Vidyalayas, where children in a heterogeneous setting learn beyond their textbooks. We aim to inculcate values and life skills required to meet the needs of the 21st century. Undeniably children are the best examples of matchless sincerity, marvelous creativity and boundless enthusiasm which they generally display in almost all the tasks assigned to them. They are undoubtedly a perennial source of inspiration to adults also. But in this fast changing world with plenty of distractions and temptations, they need to preserve their innocence, integrity, inner strength, intelligence, presence of mind and simplicity which are some of the most invaluable traits required to face the challenges of life and to succeed. I am certain that the positive and focused approach of children along with guidance from their parents and teachers will help them reach their goals to prove themselves as responsible and useful citizens of our nation. Life may seem difficult sometimes but they will never lose their hopefulness and faith if they stay humble and grounded. Let us help children set a realistic goal for themselves and then put their best efforts to hit the bull’s eye. Remember without a goal we are like a directionless ship which is bound to lose its way in the vast ocean. My best wishes to all of you….
