Digital Language Lab
The Digital Language Lab at PM SHRI KV No.1 Ambala Cantt is equipped with 30 PCs and a projector to enhance language learning through technology. The lab uses Wordsworth software, designed for speaking and listening activities, providing an interactive platform for students to improve their communication skills. Each PC is paired with headphones, essential for conducting ASL (Assessment of Speaking and Listening) activities. Students also use workbooks to reinforce their learning. This well-equipped lab offers a modern approach to language education, focusing on immersive, practical experiences that help develop fluency and confidence in English.
In addition to regular speaking and listening activities, the Lab is utilized for various other educational purposes. Students solve sample papers projected onto the screen, enhancing their understanding of question patterns and improving time management. The lab also conducts online tests via Google Forms, ensuring immediate feedback and promoting a digital learning experience. All 30 PCs are connected to the internet, enabling access to a wide range of online resources and interactive tools. This integration of technology supports both independent learning and collaborative activities, aligning with modern education trends.
